In Croydon, Brick by Brick appears to
be working on infill housing alongside other building developments
around the Croydon borough, many of which started back in 2016. For
example, the council’s local plan is to have 2,890 new homes built
across the borough by 2036 in order to help house Croydon’s growing
population which will soon exceed 400,000. Brick by Brick is working to
help deliver this housing and the council reports that half of the new
homes that Brick by Brick build will be affordable, and all units will
be available solely to Croydon.

Affordable Housing Projects in Croydon

Also, back in July 2017 the council set up Croydon Affordable Housing
(CAH) in order to provide homes for Croydon residents that cost no more
than 65% of the average market rent, and around 300 of the new-build
affordable rented properties are being delivered for CAH through Brick
by Brick. The council reports that these will include 90 new homes on
the site of the old council offices, Taberner House.

Hoist and Plant

We are a Croydon-based, family business which first started trading
in 1980, supplying for hire or sale a wide variety of items of plant and
equipment for construction sites, building sites and related
industries. We have also expanded the business to include not just
builders’ hoists, but also access and lifting equipment. Contact us:
Hoist & Plant Hire Co Ltd, 20-22 Factory Lane, Croydon, Surrey CRO
3RL Tel 0845 8800790 / 0208 6670882.

There have been more reports in the Croydon papers about the Bellway development being built on the site of the […]

[13,14,15

post-790","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-building-and-construction-work","category-croydon","category-news
["GET
